Where did the time go????

So I've been slacking a little..we'll alot actually, so I figured I'd sum up the last couple of months into one post....

Remember this...... Can you believe this was almost two months ago? It's hard to imagine that we had that much snow considering how nice the weather has been since.

I took like 5 photos of Cameron and in every single one, he was eating the snow..Gross!

Cameron and Beau went to the corn maze for their field trip with Treasure house pre-school. They have so much fun together!

Bryce had to dress up to go to work on Halloween night. My nephew Braden let him borrow this outfit. In case you haven't seen the movie "Semi-Pro" He is dressed as Jackie Moon who is played by Will Farrell. I told him that I wasn't worried about any women wanting to pick him up that night....I don't know about anyone else but I'm not so much into the red afros!!!






Before we took the kids trick or treating, we went and visited my Nana who is in a nursing home. She is 95 years old!!

Every year Kaycee want's to be some kind of superhero..last year was Wonder Woman, this year was Bat Girl!






Kaycee's first hunting trip and I'm sure it won't be her last. She has been begging Bryce to take her hunting so a few weeks ago he took her pheasant hunting with his Dad and Brother. Kaycee had so much fun. As most of you know..she's not the most girly thing!! Bryce is such a good Dad to take her along with him.

RIP Obi-Wan Kenobi

We are sad to announce the decapitation of Obi-Wan Kenobi. (Star Wars guy)

So this happened a couple of weeks ago but I'm a little slow at posting it. I just thought that it was too funny not to share... So I sent Cameron to bed one night and instead of going to sleep, I could hear him in their playing with his little star wars action figures (which he is totally obsessed with right now) and all of the sudden he started crying and ran into my room. When I asked him why he was crying he said " I swallowed Obi-Wan Kenobi's head!!!" I said, "You did what?" and he told me again "I swallowed Obi-Wan Kenobi's head. He then started making throw up sounds and was going through the motions of vomitting. He then started sticking his hand down his throat to try and get it out but was getting frustrated because his hand was too big. Bryce and I were busting up laughing!! (after we made sure he wasn't choking and was going to be ok, of course!!) He was so devasted that his Obi-Wan has no head and he knew that it probably wasn't the best thing to swallow it. For one, what in the world was he doing with his head in his mouth and another, I thought that we were past the whole putting things in your mouth phase..Apparantley not!

So needless to say, We were on poop watch for a week or so and still no head has made an appearance yet (at least that we could see) and I wasn't about to go exploring!!! Anyway, I'm sure the head has passed, and it was pretty little so I'm not too worried, but this is one story I had to write down so we can laugh about it when Cam is older.

Halloween Fun!!

So I've been slacking a little on the blogging but my camera is currently broke so I can't take any pictures..by the way, don't ever buy a kodak camera..they suck!!! Anyway, I thought that since Halloween is coming it would be fun to post some pics of my little goblins and their halloween costumes over the years...

Cameron started pre-school last with with Miss Brenda at Treasure House Pre-school. He is really enjoying it. Some days I wonder if he is learning anything and then all of the sudden he'll start singing a song he has learned or he has even started to recite the Pledge Of Allegiance. He is getting more grown up everyday!

So Kaycee has been bugging us all summer to go camping so we thought we better hurry and get a trip in before it gets cold...So we packed up our little tent that fits on the back of Bryce's truck and grabbed an air mattress, a couple sleeping bags and a few blankets thinking that would be more than enough to keep us warm and headed up to the meadows campground. The weather was nice until about 8:00 and then we started to freeze..you know it's cold when you sit around the fire and see your breath. So we bundled the kids up in layers of clothing and put as much as we had on us and headed to bed. It was a very long night listening to kids just snore away while Bryce and I searched for each other's feet to try and stay warm. The kids had so much fun even though it was just for one night and it was freezing!!! They didn't seem to mind it at all. They kept telling us how much fun they were having which I guess makes it worth it!!!

Kaycee was so excited for first grade. It has been quite an adjustment with the long days and the school lunch but she is enjoying it.

Fourth of July

On the Fourth of July we went to the West Point parade in the morning and then went to a swimming party at aunt Sherries. The kids had a lot of fun!

MEXICO

Bryce and I just had our 10th anniversary on July 10th! We celebrated earlier this year in Cancun Mexico! We had so much fun. We already want to go back there and maybe take the kids next time..We'll....maybe not!!
